DODA: Expressing great resentment over the announcement of summer vacation for winter zone of Jammu Division, President Doda Development Front (DDF) Ishtiaq Ahmed Dev strongly condemned the order issued by Commissioner Secretary Education Shaleen Kabra.
As per press statement, President DDF Ishtiaq Ahmed Dev flayed the Govt Order, in which Commissioner Secretary Education has issued order for observing summer vacations in winter zone of Jammu Division from 1st to 17th July 2016.
Dev lambast the Education Department for ordering summer vacation for Chenab region, adding that the untimely summer vacation will deeply affect the students of this region who have always been deprived from getting timely and quality education besides due to these unnecessary vacations, the students failed to complete their syllabus.
Dev alleged that it has been the policy of the State Govt to degrade the education system in Chenab region by ordering unnecessary vacations due to which students were not able to get proper education.
Further, he added that, in winter vacation our schools remained closed from November to March where as in Jammu District, only 40 days holidays are given for summer vacation.
He appealed the State Govt, Education Minister and concerned officers from Education Department to look in to the matter seriously and revoke immediately the order of summer vacation for Chenab region so that the students of this region may not suffer anymore.
