SRINAGAR: The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon on Thursday awarded felicitation certificates sent by UNIC, New Delhi for
winning team of special
children U/16 players of Gandhi Mendala Cricket Series, 2015.
The children who were awarded on the occasion are Umer Yousuf, Irfan Ahmad, Hakeen Rasik, Taufeeq Naz, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, Bilal Ahmad Teli, Abid Sultan Khan, Shakir Ahmad Bhat, Showkat Ahmad Bhat and Nayeem Ahmad Dar. Coach of the Team, Umar Amin and Manager, Mohammad Sharief were also awarded.
The Divisional Commissioner appreciated the children for their performance and asked the organization for holding such sports events in future also.
