Inter-KVs U-14 tourney for Subroto Cup Football;KV-2 Jammu Cantt, KV-2 Srinagar in semifinals

JAMMU: Kendriya Vidyalya (KV) No.2 Jammu Cantonment, KV-2 Srinagar and KV Jallandhar on Wednesday qualified for the knock-out stages of semifinals in the ongoing inter-KVs under-14 boys football tournament for Subroto Cup at GGM Science College Ground, here.
The semifinals have been scheduled for tomorrow at the same venue. Earlier, during the first two days of the league competition held among nine teams divided in two groups, KV-2 Jammu Cantonment and KV-2 Srinagar as also KV Jallandhar excelled thus reaching the last four stages of the competition.
The competition is being held under the guidance of Archana Sharma, Sports Teacher of KV No 2 Jammu Cantonment.

League Round: KV-4 Jallandhar beat KV-1 Udhampur6-0; KV Miran Sahib drew KV-4 Jallandhar to goalless; KV-1 beat KV-1 Udhampur 2-0; KV-2 Jammu defeated KV Nagrota 3-2; KV-2 Srinagar drew against KV-2 Pathankot; KV-1 Srinagar outplayed KV-1 Udhampur 2-0; KV-4 Jallandhar blanked KV-2 Udhampur
4-0; KV-2 Srinagar trounced KV-2 Jammu Cantonment 4-0; KV Nagrota drew against KV-2 Pathankot 0-0.
