SRINAGAR: Police solved two burglary cases by arresting the accused persons involved in them and recovered stolen items worth lakhs of rupees at their instance.
Rayees Ahmad Shah reported in Police Station D.H Pora, Kulgam that during the intervening night of 26th and 27th of the instant month, some unknown persons broke open his shop at Pumbai and stole digital cameras, mobile phone accessories etc from there. Kulgam Police registered a case FIR No. 98/2016 under section 457, 380 RPC and started the investigation. During the course of investigation SHO D.H Pora Shri Hyder Ali launched a manhunt and arrested two burglars identified as Kamran Arshid Mir alias Badshah son of Arshid Mir resident of Wangam Shopian and Abdul Rashid Lone son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Kachdora Shopian. Stolen items worth lakhs of rupees and the items of instant case were recovered at their instance.
Meanwhile, during investigation of another burglary case FIR No. 92/2016 under section 457, 380 RPC lodged on 23rd June, 2016, SHO DH Pora along with his party arrested two burglars who were identified as Gowhar Ahmad Ahanar and Nazir Ahmad Ahanger residents of D.K Marg. Kulgam Police recovered the stolen property of the instant case (Motor GK-200) on their instance. The investigation of both the cases is still going on
