AKHNOOR: A meeting of ex-central Paramilitary Forces (PMF) personnel was held at Jiyo Pota Ghat Akhnoor under the chairmanship of Surjit Singh President Aknoor area, where State President R.L. Dogra was also present.
Association members paid homage to the CRPF jawans who laid down their life at Pampore Srinagar for the country.
Later association discussed their demands projected to the Govt of India from time to time and Seventh Pay Commission which is under process association hoped that Govt will consider their demands for the welfare of retired/serving personnel like one rank one pension, medical allowance and other problems. Somnath Sharma (V. President State body) , Thoru Ram. (Gen Sec. State body), Ramesh Singh, Ram Parkash, Mohan Lal, Tulsi Dass and Vakil Singh were also present in the meeting .
