CBSE’s workshop for teachers concludes at DPS Leh

LEH: Workshop for the teachers on Capacity Building Programme in Mathematics conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education at Delhi Public School Leh, concluded here on Sunday.
On the concluding day, Anjali Chhabra, Deputy-Director/Assistant Professor Centre of Excellence Panchkula, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest. Trilok Singh Bist, Principal Jodhamal Public School Jammu was the Resource Person.
Earlier the principal, faculty and students welcomed Anjali Chhabra and Trilok Singh Bist. The Head Girl of the School applied vermillion to dignitaries followed by the presentation of the Khataks by the principal.
The cultural programme presented by the students showcased the culture of three regions of the state.
Anjali praised for the management, principal and staff of the school for maintaining a high standard at this place which is cut off from the rest of the world for more than five months in a year.
Challenging areas and common errors in mathematics, assessment both SA-1 and SA-2 were discussed on the concluding day.
Principal of the School, Subhash Kumar Baldotra presented vote of thanks. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Nidhi Gill.
Executive-member and Educational Adviser DPS Leh T.P Singh also appreciated and applauded the efforts of the CBSE in general and Regional Office Panchkula for conducting such a training programme for the teachers of this remote area of Leh.
