ReTs transferred unauthorisedly not to get salary: Naeem

SRINAGAR: Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar on Thursday said that government has issued orders not to release the salary of ReTs who have been transferred unauthorizedly.
He said that the salary of such ReTs wouldn’t be released till the time they report back to their original places of posting.
Replying to a clubbed question of Ch. Qamar Hussain and Shakti Raj Parihar in the Legislative Assembly, the minister said that government is consolidating the existing infrastructure in education sector and there is no proposal of any expansion of educational institutions in the State.
The minister said that 2,716 ReTs were engaged in Rajouri District, out of which 2,052 stand regularised.
The minister said that out of remaining 688 cases of ReTs, 502 have not yet completed compulsory tenure of five years for their regularisation. He further informed that no upgradations have been sanctioned for the State during the current financial year under SSA/RMSA. Hence the upgradation of High Schools Bagla, Dhara Sanwala, Pallulain to higher Secondary level does not arise.
