POONCH : One woman died and another got injured when they were hit by a sliding rock in village Rajpur, Tehsil Mandi on Monday.
The women were grazing their cattle when a sliding rock hit them and injuring both of them. The women were immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Mandi where doctors declared Begum Jan wife of Sultan Mohd resident of Rajpura Mandi as brought dead. Her body was handed over to her family members for last rites.
The other woman identified as Sharifa Begum wife of Abdul Zubair resident of Rajpura was admitted in SDH Mandi for treatment.
