JAMMU: Going by the guided principles of former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the slew of measures announced by Chief Minister Mehboba Mufti are sure to encourage party workers at ward levels and also develop all major towns of the State by establishing parks, libraries and parking spaces. These measures are the need of hour, said Zonal President of PDP Jammu West, Puneet Singh Jamwal.
In order to strengthen party and boost the morale of ward presidents and party colleagues, a meeting was organised at Janipur which was participated by senior party functionaries, ward presidents, card holders and workers. Senior party colleagues including Ashok Jogi, Suresh Sharma and S.S Sangral spoke on the occasion and also distributed cards to those present on the occasion.
Ashok Jogi said that PDP is going by the guided principles of former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and we all need to strengthen the party at grass root level. He said that opposition leaders have spread a misinformation campaign against the government which must be rubbed off without any notice.
“The government is functioning very well and coming up to the expectations of people. Each and every ward is witnessing some development which is likely to get enhanced in days to come. There has been no case of corruption reported anywhere in the State and all the functionaries are trying to deliver according to the party mandate and manifesto,” he added.
Those who attended the meeting include Ward Presidents Raj Kumar, Raj Kumar Gupta, Shishu Gandotra, Rajkumar Dahlia, Jugvijay Singh Chib, Parveen Kumar, Karan Dhamir and Mansa Ram. Other party functionaries were present include Nanaji Wattal, B.N Singh, Sumit Chadha, Chetan Jamwal, Narinder Kumar, Parveen Kumar, Iqrar Muhammad, Anil Ganjoo, Rajkumari, Swaran Lata, Asha, Bharat Kumar, Karan Dhamir, Manik Abrol, Rajat Gupta, Netar Parkash, Mushtaq Ahmad, Sham Sharma and Sahil Gupta.
