BBIA delegation visits Propack Asia 2016

JAMMU: A delegation of eleven members of registered Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) industrial units visited the ’24th International Processing and Packaging Technology Event for Asia, Propack Asia – 2016 exhibition At Bitec Bangkok, Thailand under the leadership of Lalit Kumar Mahajan President BBIA and Ajay Langer General Secretary BBIA.
Propack Asia was organized by professionals for Bangkok Exhibition Services (BES) Ltd., as part of the All World Exhibitions Alliance, has offices in 34 countries in Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Africa and Australia. Propack Asia is being marketed globally by International Expo Management Pte Ltd. based in Singapore and Overseas Exhibition Services Ltd. based in London, both are members of the All World Exhibitions Alliance.
The participants from 42 countries displayed their products in the exhibition. The member units interacted with the foreign delegates and also discussed the business proposals with them in respect of export of rice, food products, handicrafts and other products being manufactured in the State and also explored the possibilities for the import of fruit juices concentrate and pulp as raw materials for the units located in Jammu and Kashmir.
BBIA delegation is the one of the J and K industrial delegations which has been visiting international exhibitions supported by MSME, Government of India on regular basis to update the latest technology available on international level for the benefit of their member units. The delegates representing various industries i.e food, packaging material, machinery manufacturers etc. participated in the exhibition.
