ANANTNAG: Cautioning about the poll gimmicks of PDP and BJP, JKPCC Chief G.A Mir on Sunday urged upon the people of Anantnag to remain vigilant as both PDP and BJP can go to any extent to gain votes. He was addressing a joint meeting of party cadres and representative of Anantnag on Sunday.
“PDP has lost the ground miserably due it’s utter failure on all fronts, as this party has betrayed the people after securing votes on the pretext of defeating forces posing threat to unity and communal harmony of the State,” he said.
The tall claims and promises made with the people by both PDP and BJP stand exposed, Mir added.
PCC Chief felt confident that this time people of Anantnag will give a befitting reply to PDP for the betrayal and unfulfilled promises they have made with the people. He urged upon the people to defeat the designs of RSS and BJP by defeating PDP and appealed to them to strengthen the secular forces by voting and supporting Congress Party.
