BILLAWAR: Mohd Alam Din defeated wrestler Kalia in the main bout and won the Dangal title organised by Dangal Committee at Uchapind Panchayat village Trapra of Billawar Constituency, here on Saturday.
The Dangal was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Manoj Gupta, District President, Panthers Trade Union (PTU), Kathua.
Speaking on the occasion Manoj said that wrestling promotes good health and keeps youth away from bad habits. He also appealed to the youths of the area to join hands with Panthers Party for providing development of the hilly and far flung areas.
He later honoured the winner and runner up wrestlers of different bouts.
Dangal Committee members who conducted the Dangal included Surju Singh, Bhola, Roop Chand, Mohan Singh, Balbir Singh, Jagdev Singh and Puran Chand.
