SRINAGAR: Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari on Friday that the government has constituted a Committee to work out an appropriate policy outlining all possible options for regularisation of causal, seasonal and need based workers.
Replying on behalf of Finance Minister to a clubbed question of Qaiser Jamsheed Lone, Mohammad khursheed Alam, Vibodh Gupta and Master Noor Hussain in the Legislative Council, the minister said there are 61,000 casual, seasonal, need based and other categories of workers engaged by various departments across the State.
