Bhadarwah: Two persons were injured today when the van they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Gandoh area of Doda District on Tuesday afternoon.
According to police sources, the accident occurred near village Bhargi on under construction Gandoh-Jai Road.
“The Eco van without registration number veered-off the road and fell into a gorge when the driver was trying to negotiate a sharp curve, resulting in serious injuries to the two,” SHO Gandoh Tariq Hussain Naik said.
” Passersby rescued both the injured and took them to Sub District Hospital Gandoh from where they were shifted to district hospital in Doda,” he said.
An FIR number 60/2016 has been lodged and a case registered under section 279,337 Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) at Police Station Gandoh.
