‘3,337 complaints received, 3,221 disposed off’

SRINAGAR: To keep the commitment of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for assured public services to people within the stipulated time and speedy redressal of public grievances, a meeting of Nodal Officers including Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Chief Engineer, PDD Kashmir, Director, CAPD, Kashmir and Director, Rural Development Department, Kashmir was held here at Chief Minister’s Private office.
The status of grievances and complaints received at various offices was reviewed at length.
It was given out in the meeting that the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar received 856 registered complaints, of which 762 have been disposed of, PDD received 1662 registered complaints, of which 1660 have been disposed, Rural Development Department, Kashmir received 392 registered complaints, of which 381 have been disposed. Similarly, the CAPD, Kashmir disposed of 418 against registered complaints of 424.
All the Nodal officers have been emphasized to dispose of the remaining complaints quickly so that dream of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti who is personally monitoring the public grievances, is realized and public service is ensured with great accountability and services delivery. All Nodal Officers have been instructed to ensure that the grievances when registered are redressed promptly. Stress was also laid to create more awareness among the people about the website to register grievances on the website www.jkgrievances.nic.in.
Deputy Secretary in Chief Ministers Secretariat, Inam-ul-Haq Siddiqui was also present in the meeting.
