UDHAMPUR: A team led by ARTO Udhampur Arto Rajesh Gupta on Friday conducted road checking at different locations of Udhampur district.
During the checking, number of vehicles were compounded and Challaned and music systems of vehicles were also seized.
Two trucks loaded with cement were also seized and kept at ARTO Off Udhampur and overloaded goods later on off loaded in another vehicle by the owner. An amount of Rs 36,000 compounded on the spot by Team.
ARTO Rajesh Gupta also conducted number of public meeting at Panchari Lander and other adjoining areas to sort out problems related to public transport. Sarpanchs and other prominent people of the area attended.
