JAMMU: A meeting of prominent wrestlers was held at Akhara Diwan Mandir Jammu under the chairmanship of renowned wrestler and NIS Wrestling Coach of the State Choudhary Prem Nath to discuss the arrangement of a seminar on the theme ‘Wrestling: its promotion, Identification of barriers in the game and their solutions’ to be organized on 12th June at 10:00 AM Ramleela Hall, Diwan Mandir.
Choudhary Prem Nath, main organiser who is also the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Indian Style Wrestling Association, disclosed that wrestling had its existence in the state but now its glory is in the declining phase and urgent attention is required to cope with the prevailing issue for which prominent wrestlers are being invited in the seminar.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included Bodh Raj, Raj Kumar,Swaran Lal Anand,Partap Singh Kairoo,Thakur Rajinder Singh, Allah Mai, Kewal Krishan and Dr Dubey.
