JDA retrieves five Kanals land

JAMMU: Intensifying its drive against the encroachers, the Enforcement Wing of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) on Friday retrieved a chunk of five Kanals land at Paloura near KCS College, Jammu.
Two JCB machines were put to operation for removing the encroachment and encroachment was removed with the assistance of police led by SHO Janipur R.S Bahu. The anti encroachment drive was conducted on the directions of Vice Chairman JDA, under the supervision of Vinay Samotra Secretary/DLM, JDA, comprising of Revenue/Enforcement Wing, Chief Khilafwarzi Officer Narinder Singh, Tehsildar JDA Zone-A, Tarsem Lal, Pankaj Singh Sambyal Khilafwarzi Officer, Khilafwarzi Inspector’s Parshotam Kumar, Rajinder Singh Choudhary, Shabaz Mugal, Sanjeev Kumar, Mohd Sahid and Deeraj Kumar Patwari and field staff took part in the day long anti encroachment drive, removed the encroachment instantly and Engineering wing of JDA fenced the land by erecting RCC poles and barbed wire fencing. JDA warned the trespassers and encroachers to desist from trespassing the JDA land on the pretext of fake revenue documents, for which strict action shall be taken against the violators including demolition and registration of FIR against the encroachers.
JDA also appealed to the general public not to purchase land from unscrupulous elements on fake documents, without verification of revenue papers from the concerned authorities.
