MENDHAR: A large number of residents of border Tehsil Mendhar held a protest against the poor and inefficient BSNL services in the town in spite of repeated complaints by the consumers. The protesters said that it has become routine of the day that the broad band remains non-functional and the people have to face lot of difficulties besides the losses. They raised slogans against the Agency and alleged that reason behind this situation could be lack of devotion of employees and the faulty edifice. They further alleged that nobody listens to their plight and officers are benumbed and indifferent regarding complaints. The protesters appealed to the District Development Officer to take up the issue with the Chief General Manager to improve BSNL services. Prominent among those present in the protest include Mohd Tarik, Asif Nafaz Khan, Deepak Sharma, Touseef Ahmed, Rashid Khan, Safiaz Khan and Israr Ahmed.
