NEW DELHI: Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has approved the enhancement of budget from Rs.75 lakh to Rs. 1 crore to assist the training of the international level Shooter, Heena Sidhu for the forthcoming Olympics.
This was disclosed here on Wednesday by Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr Jitendra Singh.
An advance amount will be released during June-August 2016 and this will also include financial support for attending two training camps in Germany in June and July respectively, besides coaching fee for ‘Pierre Beauchamp’ for 40 days’ coaching.
