RAMBAN: Division of State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) has intensified raids against hoarders of polythene bags that are banned under Jammu and Kashmir Non-Biodegradable Material Management, Handing and Disposal Act 2007.
In the last couple of days team led by PCB Divisional Officar, Kuldeep Bhan raided number of shops at Batote, Chanderkot, Karol and Ramban markets and seized about 50 kg of banned material. The raiding team comprised of officers of municipalities and Police Department.
