JAMMU: A fighting Kathua District were tamed by BSF Red Demons in the last match of the day despite putting up a spirited performance thereby losing the game 22-39 in the ongoing Open Basketball Championship at MA Stadium, here on Monday.
In the other women’s match, Jodhamal School beat Jammu District. Pallavi Bral put up a lone battle for the losers while Ankita, Danish and Antriksha contributed for the winners.
Earlier in the men’s section, STC Warriors continued their winning spree defeating KC International 38-24, while STC Terriers beat JP World School 28-19. Rohan Sharma, Gourav Rajwal and Abhinav Sharma for STC Warriors were main scorers.
In another match, Jodhamal boys beat SOS School 34-27.
Harsh for the winners and Ayush for the losers contributed 10 points each.
