1.5 lakh consumers to get benefit of online services: DyCM

JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh on Saturday launched Power Development Department (PDD) Website to provide online access of services to the electricity consumers of Electric Maintenance and Rural Electrification Division-III.
The consumers can access to PDD Division-III through www.ed3jammu.com to avail the services including access to electricity bills and online payments. The Consumer can also manage their electricity bills by using online bill calculator available on the website.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that over 1.5 lakh consumers falling in the Division-III will be benefitted by the online services. He said that website will also provide daily information to the consumers about new connections, power shutdown, outages and transformer failures in their areas. The consumers can register their complaints online and give their feedback directly to the department through department’s dedicated e-mail [email protected].
The website has been designed by the Nittin Verma and Divya Gupta (Junior Engineer) under the guidance of Sanjay Sharma Executive Engineer, EMRE-III, Jammu.
Meanwhile, the Deputy CM also inaugurated newly constructed 10MVA, 33/11KV Receiving Station at Manda. MLA, Jammu (West) Sat Sharma, Chief Engineer PDD Ashwani Kumar and other officers of PDD were alsi present.
