KATRA: Police on Thursday arrested two women bootleggers and recovered 50 pouches of liquor from their possession.
According to a report, acting on a specific input, a police team headed by Inspector Sanjeev Sharma, SHO Police Station Katra conducted a checking/frisking at Police Check Post Nomain. During checking, the police recovered 50 pouches of J and K Excise Liquor from the possession of two women identified as Chanchla Devi wife of Premu and Pooja wife of Raju both residents of Garh Matyal Katra district Reasi.
The accused women were arrested and a case vide FIR No. 92/2016 under section 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC was registered at Police Station Katra.
