SHOTOPA: President BJYM Kargil, Hassan Pasha raised the issues regarding education sector of Kargil with the Minister for State Education, Technical Education and Tourism Priya Sethi at Civil Secretariat Srinagar.
He explained the minister that lot of vacancies of Education Department in Kargil District are lying vacant which should be filled at the earliest which will help in reducing the burden of unemployment as well as solve the problem of staff in schools.
Keeping in view the increasing job opportunities and employment news by the State Government, he urged upon the minister for establishment of JKPSC Examination Centre in Kargil as recently JKPSC centre has been established at Leh District but unfortunately Kargil District is still devoid of the centre. He also raised the issue of increasing the number of students enrolled in JNV Kargil (Ladakh) for 6th class from 30 to 80, as the capacity available with state of art infrastructure to accommodate more students.
The Minister for State Priya Sethi appreciated the efforts of Hassan Pasha in the development of education sector and reaching to the gross root level as a worker. She assured that the issues will be redressed as soon as possible on priority basis so that the people of frontier district Kargil will get better development.
