“It is an elected government and Prime Minister Modi is enjoying 2/3 rd majority and to make a remark like this amounts to sacrilege of the democracy and disregarding mandate of the people and also disrespecting the preference shown by the people of this country in support and favour of Narendra Modi.”
On the question of probing charges of corruption against Robert Vadra, son-in-law of the Congress President, Dr Jitendra Singh said,” for a party which is totally central and based on a family lineage any threat which they perceive to the family interests is perceived by them as national interest. He said time has come now when people of this country would force them to do a course correction.
Dr Singh, without dropping any names and pointing fingers towards any one in particular, remarked, “let law take its own course and let them come out clean and demand a probe to prove their innocence”.
