JDA retrieves encroached land

JAMMU: Taking swift action against encroacher, who had raised illegal construction forcefully over JDA land in Khasra No.92 village Chak Chagerwan on pretext of fake revenue documents and taking advantage of holiday, the Enforcement Wing of JDA took cognisance of the matter demolished the illegal structure and compound wall.
Tehsildar Jammu North Dr. Javid Rather was approached by Revenue Team of JDA for authentication/demarcation of revenue documents of Khasra No. 92, Village Chak Chagerwan in reference to revenue papers procured by encroacher claiming the land in question is private and belongs to him.
Tehsildar, Jammu North, directed the revenue team of concerned revenue village to immediately demarcate the land and hand over the demarcation to JDA.
Arun Gupta, Superintendent of Police, Rural Jammu and Vikram Manhas In-charge Police Post Chinore provided the police assistance to the revenue team for conducting demarcation and removing encroachment on the request of JDA.
Revenue team of JDA headed by Farooq Anwar Mirza Naib Tehsildar, Rattan Lal Girdawar, Shabaz Mugal, Sanjeev Kumar, Mohammad Sahid and Deeraj Kumar Patwaris of JDA got physical demarcation of JDA land and verified that illegal structure/ compound wall raised over Khasra No. 92 Village Chak Chagerwan which belongs to JDA and had been put to auction.
As per the directions of Vice Chairman JDA, the Enforcement Wing of JDA under the supervision of Director Land Management JDA and comprising of Chief Khilafwarzi Officer Narinder Singh, Pankaj Singh Sambyal Khilafwarzi Officer, Khilafwarzi Inspector’s Parshotam Kumar and Rajinder Singh Choudhary and field staff of JDA took part in the anti encroachment drive and removed the encroachment instantly.
