Ganga inaugurates sub-stations under RAPDRP

SAMBA: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga said that government is committed to provide uninterrupted and better power supply to the people and soon there will be a discernible change in power scenario in the State.
This was stated by the minister after inaugurating 2 Sub-Stations of 250 KVA and 100 KVA under RAPDRP scheme in Bari Brahmana.
District Development Commissioner Samba, Sheetal Nanda was also present on the occasion.
Highlighting the significance of RAPDRP scheme in urban electrification, Ganga said that 100 percent implementation of this scheme will ensure quality power supply to consumers besides containing power pilferage at all levels. He asked the people for judicious use of power besides paying their electricity bills in time to further develop power infrastructure in the state.
Ganga appealed to the people to promote use of LED lights to save electricity as they will be provided these on subsidized rates by the government.
The minister directed the PDD authorities to execute the pending works under RAPDRP in Bari Brahmana at the earliest so that existing power infrastructure is upgraded in the area.
Among others, Executive Engineer PDD Sanjeev Bhagat, AEE PDD Bari Brahmana Sunil Kumar, concerned officers and locals were present on the occasion.
