POONCH: Deputy Superintendent of Traffic Rajouri and Poonch Range Madan Lal Sharma and DTI Poonch Sadiq Ahmed held traffic Nakas at different places on Poonch – Jammu National Highway and Mughal Road Area on Sunday.
According to the sources, the Dy SP Traffic and DTI Poonch laid Nakas at Surankote , Draba, Buffliaz, Potha , Nakhan- wali- road, Banwat, Mangnar, Kanuyan, Jhullas and Krishana Ghati.
During the drive, 100 vehicles were Challaned and 16 vehicles were seized besides recovering a fine of Rs 18,500.
Dy SP gave a strict warning to the vehicle operators that those violating traffic norms will not be spared.
