JAMMU: A protest was held here by Shiv Shakti Sena, J and K at Main Stop Janipur on Friday against the unscheduled power cuts.
Party activists and locals raised slogans against the Minister for Power and Chief Engineer, EM and RE who have totally failed to-provide uninterrupted power supply to the consumers during this peak summer season.
Rakesh Gupta, State President, Shiv Shakti Sena, while criticising the State administration especially the PDD, stated that this department is totally bent upon to cause harassment to general public.
Gupta warned the State Government and PDD to take serious notice of this drawback so as to restore smooth, uninterrupted supply of electricity to the consumers, who are paying heavy dues.
The protest was attended by Shiv Deep Gupta, Sat Pal Sharma, Devanshu, Sonu Kumar, Ashwani Gupta, Kaka, Rahul Gupta and Aman Kumar.
