SSP for smooth regulation of traffic during Amarnath Yatra

RAMBAN: SSP Ramban on Thursday chaired a meeting with ARTO and executive officers of various road construction agencies for maintenance of road well before the start of Shri Amarnath Annual Yatra -2016 for the smooth regulation of traffic on the National Highway – 44 as well as link roads.
During the meeting, SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar apprised the participants about the dilapidated condition of NHW from Patnitop to Kharpora Banihal due to the ongoing construction and non maintenance work by various companies on the road.
The SSP directed all the participants to synergise their efforts for ensuring smooth plying of vehicles on highway. Pointing to the uncertain blockage of road and jams at many places, the SSP Ramban directed the companies’ authorities for ensuring the uninterrupted traffic flow and stringent action against the defaulters.
