BHADARWAH: A teenager got seriously injured after he fell from the roof of overloaded Tata Sumo near Tanta in Bhalessa area this afternoon.
Arshad Ahmed Harga 18 son of Mohd Hanief Harga resident of village Goila Tehsil Kahara was travelling on the roof of sumo on Kahara-Tanta Road, when the overloaded vehicle reached near village Kahai, Arshad who was sitting on the edge of the roof lost his balance on a curve and fell on the road.
Seriously injured was immediately shifted to Distt Hospital Doda from where he was airlifted to GMC Jammu. “A case vide FIR 50/2016 under section 279,336,337 RPC was registered at Police Station Gandoh and the vehicle (JK06-5956) has been seized, however the driver is still absconding,” SDPO Gandoh Bhushan Kumar Ganjoo.
