DODA: Shahid Cricket Club (SCC) Doda registered win by defeating Shahdab Cricket Club Doda by four wickets in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Sports Stadium, here on Friday.
The tournament is being organised by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda.
Shahdab Cricket Club Doda, batting first after winning the toss, was bowled out for 111 runs in 17 overs. Haroon was the top scorer with 31 while Tanveer added 15 runs to the total.For Shahid Cricket Club, Aabid Nabi, Nadeem and Ashu shared three wickets each. In reply, Shahid Cricket Club Doda chased the target in 14.2 overs for the loss of six wickets. Pankaj played an inning of 30 runs while Jasbeet contributed 29 runs to the winning total. For Shahdab Cricket Club, Nawaz picked three wickers while Zaheer took two. Nadeem of Shahid Cricket Club Doda team was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance. The match was officiated by Aayush Sharma, Munish Zutshi, Rinku Bhaduria and Ashok Sharma.
