SAMBA: In order to curb the menace of illegal distillation and sale of illicit liquor, the Excise Department Samba today conducted raids in various places of Samba.
A team of the excise department under Inspector Susheel Bhat conducted a series of raids at Ramgarh, Radhwa, Nandpur and adjoining areas of Vijaypur under the supervision of ETO, Tinna Mahajan.
During the course of raids about 110 kgs of Lahan was recovered and destroyed on the spot.
