DODA: Powered by Irfan Yousuf’s 61-run inning, Islamia Cricket Club (ICC) Banihal registered big 80 runs win over Uttar Pradesh in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Sports Stadium, here on Wednesday.
Irfan Yousuf smashed 61 runs and was later adjudged Man of the Match. The prize was awarded by Chief Guest, Zaffar Ullah Rather, farmer Chairman Municipal Committee Doda.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, ICC Banihal set a target of 186 runs losing eight wickets. Later, Uttar Pradesh failed to attain the goal and was bowled out for 106 runs in 14 overs.
Aamir was main contributor with 44 runs. For Uttar Pradesh, Manoj Kashyap was most successful bowler with three wickets and Ketan Singh took two.
Batting second, Uttar Pradesh was bowled out for 106 runs in 14 overs. Imran Alam was the top scorer with 37 runs followed by Ashar Jamal, who made 16 runs. For ICC Banihal, Irfan Yousuf pick of the bowers with four wickets and Saqib clinched three.
The tournament is being organised by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Ifroz Rather as Umpires whereas Rinku Bhaduria acted as Scorer and Ashok Sharma (Video Analyst) as Third Umpire.
