UDHAMPUR: Balwant Singh Mankotia, President Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party on Monday visited village Charat the remotest area of Udhampur District and attended public meeting organised by local Panthers Party unit.
The main issues discussed in the meeting were completion of Pakhlai to Charat Road which was sanctioned three years back under PMGSY scheme, the work on said road was also started around three years back but the sincere efforts are not made by the department to complete this road project in time bound manner. In his address, Mankotia demanded for early completion of this road and also release of land compensation to the farmers whose land has been acquired by the Govt. Mankotia further demanded that the local high school is under staffed which needs immediate sanction of additional posts of teachers, masters and other non teaching staff.
