DODA: Aligarh Eleven and Manhas Cricket Club (MCC) Thathri registered win by beating Himachal Pradesh Eleven and Indian Eleven respectively in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Sports Stadium Doda.
Earlier in the first match, Himachal Pradesh after winning the toss set a target of 98 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Dharmendra and Yogesh scored 15 and 11 runs respectively. For Aligarh Eleven, Manpreet and Navneet took three and two wickets respectively. In reply, Aligarh Eleven team managed to chase the target in 10.2 overs for the loss of three wickets. Jaggi was the top scorer with 48 runs while Vicky contributed 28 runs for the team. For Himachal Pradesh, Jitendra took two wickets and Yogesh picked one. Manpreet of Aligarh Eleven was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance. In the second match, Indian Eleven, batting first, set a traget of 72 runs for the loss of ten wickets in 12.3 overs. Sushil scored 12 runs while Gazi Mir contributed 10 runs for the team. For Manhas Cricket Club, Pradeep grabbed four wickets while Kanishk Sharma took three. In reply, Manhas Cricket Club Thathri managed to achieve the target in 10.3 overs for the loss of six wickets. Vicky (16) and Kavit (12) runs were the main scorers. For Indian Eleven, Udit Narayan picked three wickets and Anurodh took one. Pradeep Manhas of MCC Thathri was declared as Man of the Match. The matches were officiated by Aayush Sharma, Bharat Jajuriya, Munish Zutshi and Noshair Batt as Umpires whereas Rinku Bhaduria act as Scorer and Ashok Sharma (Video Analyst) as Third Umpire.
