KATHUA: A rashly driven truck rammed into a school bus of Kartar School, Barnoti in which number of children were injured including two in serious condition. The truck bearing registration No J02AU-4235 which returning to towards Jammu after transshipment of cement at Lakhanpur, hit a school bus bearing registration No JK08B-3669 due to which two students received serious injuries besides minor many others.
Those who received minor injuries were sent home after first aid and two students namely Atish son of Jeevan Jyoti and Krishan son of Surjit Kumar residents of Janglote were immediately shifted by the school administration to a hospital a Amritsar for specialised treatment. The police have seized the truck while its driver managed to flee from the spot. Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the truck driver.
