BANIHAL: Mother-son were killed while nine others got injured this morning when a Tavera coming from Jammu towards Srinagar fell into a gorge near Shatani Nallah on Ramban-Banihal.
According to report, a Tavera (JK14B-4248) rolled down into a 40 feet deep gorge resulting in two persons dieing on the spot while nine others getting injured.
The injured were shifted to Emergency Hospital Banihal for treatment and police has registered a case in this regard. The deceased have been identified as Nisha Rani wife of Ajay Kumar and Kartik Singh son of Ajay Kumar both residents of Kunjwani. The injured were identified as Ajay Kumar son of Ram Dutta (driver) resident of Kunjwani, Rakesh Kumar son of Sat Pal resident of Grama Chak Pathankot, Ramandeep son of Sat Pal resident of Grama Chak Pathankot , Jasvinder Singh son of Maan Singh resident of Essapur Sangroor Punjab, Tirath Bandhan, Laxmi wife of Vikram Singh, Manisha daughter of Vikram Singh, Rakesh Sharma son of Billawar Singh resident of Bantalab and Vikram Singh son of Gopal Singh resident of Nepal.
