JAMMU: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) is going to celebrate Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Jayanti on 8th and 9th May at Sabha Bhawan.
This was stated by Ved Parkash Sharma, President DBPS while interacting with media persons here on Friday.
“Pooja Archana followed by Hawan and Sahbhoj will be performed according to Vedic as well as Sanatan rituals on 8th May 2016 which will start at 8:00 AM,” he said adding that at 8:00 PM a Bhajan Sandhya ‘Eak Sham Bhagwan Parshuram Jee Ka Naam’ will be held in which famous singer Komal Sharma and party will recite devotional songs.
Sharma further said on 9th May, after Pooja, a Sahbhoj will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM followed by a Shobha Yatra which will start from Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha.
DBPS appealed to all Brahmins and other communities to participate in the function with full enthusiasm and seek the blessings of Bhagwan Parshuram.
