JAMMU: A delegation of School Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC) Jammu led by its Chairman N.S Jamwal met Director School Education Jammu, Smita Sethi and apprised her about various issues and problems being faced by the employees of department.
The representatives of All J and K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, ReT Teachers Forum, School Education Non-Teaching Employees Forum and Contingent Paid Employees Forum were also present in the meeting.
The deputation raised issue of repatriation of lecturers and masters working in other districts who have completed their tenure to their home districts. The members also requested director for early holding of DPC of non-teaching employees of department and speeding up the process of regularisation of all In-charge incumbents i.e. Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals, Lecturers, ZEOs and Headmasters as per the instructions of Administrative Department for completion of regularisation process pending for years together. They also demanded early disposal of ReTs regularisation cases, release of grants under SSA, RMSA and Mid Day Meal.
The committee members appealed to the director to take up the case of enhancement of wages of contingent paid workers as per Minimum Wages Act and also their regularisation as has already been done in case of their counterparts in Kashmir Province and demanded this disparity should be removed at the earliest.
The Director School Education Jammu gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured for early redressal of the demands and grievances projected by the SEECC.
The deputation comprised of Provincial President Ganesh Khajuria, General Secretary, B.B Kotwal, Charan Dass, Deepak Sharma, Darshan Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Kashmir Singh, Ravinder Singh, Jatinder Sethi, Ansuiya Gupta, Chhankar Singh, Tilak Raj, Dr. Nek Ram, Sanjeev Kumar, Virender Kumar, Anchal Saini, Madan Lai, Rajesh Sharma and Bharat Bhushan.
