UDHAMPUR: In a bizarre incident, a group of miscreants assaulted a local youth of Barmeen locality in Udhampur on Friday. According to a report, a group of unidentified miscreants attacked a local youth over some minor issue and severely beat up. Victim received critical injuries and was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Victim was identified as Maan Singh son of Tej Ram resident of Barmeen in Udhampur. It was disclosed that accused beat up youth over sowing land by tractor and without any logic committed attempt to murder and mercilessly beat up victim. Ramnagar police has registered a case and launched the investigation.
