HIRANAGAR: Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Budhi won Rugby while St. Xavier School lifted basketball under-17 boys titles in the Inter-school District Level Tournament of District Kathua, held here on Wednesday.
The tournament was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Kathua, Sunil Kumar.
GHSS Budhi, in the final of rugby under-17 boys played at Sports Stadium Hiranagar, defeated GHSS Hiranagar by 2-1. Meanwhile, St. Xavier School defeated SAI International School Hiranagar in under-17 Basketball match by 10-2 played at St. Xavier Convent School, Hatli Morh.
Today’s matches were officiated by Sanjay Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Kewal Krishan, Sanjeev Singh, Punjab Singh.
