JAMMU: Ashkoor Ahmed Wani DIG, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, held a crime review meeting of Sub-Division Domana. He was accompanied by Arun Gupta, Additional SP Rural Jammu, Sunita Kargotra CPO Range Police Hqrs Jammu and Surinder Kumar SDPO Domana. The meeting was attended by SHO Police Station Domana, SHO Police Station Kana Chak and Investigating Officers of these Police Stations. Various old/freshly registered cases were reviewed and necessary guidelines were given to the Investigating Officers for early disposal of the cases. The territorial officers were also given directions for taking preventive measures to curb the menace of accidents on Jammu-Akhnoor road, especially in the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana, so that precious lives could be saved.
Regarding missing persons of Sub Division Domana, DIG Jammu stressed on special efforts to trace them out. “SHOs shall take strict action against drug peddlers and land mafia”, DIG Jammu added.
