UDHAMPUR: A housewife made an abortive bid to commit suicide by consuming poisonous substance in her house on Tuesday.
According to a report, a housewife identified as 36 years Anju Devi wife of Mohinder Paul resident of village Battal Ballian locality in Udhampur took some poisonous substances in her house. On seeing her lying unconscious, her family members shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur. Doctors washed her stomach and till filing last report her condition was stated to be stable. Police has registered a case and launched the investigation.
