JAMMU: BJP Youth leader Karan Singh, along with a large number of party activists and supporters, performed a Hawan at Billu Mandir in Panjtirthi area of Jammu East Assembly Constituency and prayed for the early recovery of ailing BJP senior leader and sitting MLC Ashok Khajuria.
Karan Singh, after performing the Hawan, said that Ashok Khajuria is one of the tallest leader of BJP and amongst the founding members of the party. He was a prominent student leader while remaining associated with ABVP.
Pandit Ashwani Sharma chanted the religious Vedic Mantras during the Hawan.
Prominent leaders who took part in Hawan include Naresh Pradhan Kitty, Daleep Gupta, Shashi Sapolia, Rajinder Sikka, Naresh Abrol, Sudershan Singh Wazir, Suresh Bharti, Rajinder Singh Manhas, Rohit Badyal, Inderjit Abrol, Om Prakash Padha, Pawan Sharma, Sanchit Kohli, Rahul Nanda, Indresh Singh, Sahil Sharma, Jaswant Singh, Sunil Sharma, Sham Sunder, Vishal Mangotra, Sushil Sharma, Sunil Manjser, Sanjay Kumar and Rinku.
