STATE TIMES NEWS
ANANTNAG: State BJP Chief, Sat Sharma on Sunday reiterated party’s commitment to fulfill the promises to people in the State.
“BJP is committed to meet the aspirations of people in the State. And for that scores of schemes have been launched to benefit the people,” Sharma said while addressing party workers here on Sunday,
A huge gathering of party workers- including district party members welcomed Sharma with garlands and scores of Kashmiri Shawls at Town Hall Park here.
He appealed to the people to cooperate the party in its developmental plan, saying, entire country was mired in corruption during the Congress regime and BJP has been consistently working to recover the country into the development path in a transparent manner.
Sharma assured people that promises made by the party would be fulfilled and BJP in coalition with PDP will develop all the areas of the district.
Launching scathing attack on National Conference and Congress for putting the lives of common people at stake for settling their personal goals, Sharma said that the two parties have miserably failed to address the grievances of people.
“For the last one year the roads are relatively in good condition and the macadamisation of roads is going on for the welfare of public,” Sharma said.
BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul asked district administration to listen to the grievances of the people and solve the same in a time bound manner.
