JAMMU: Rising Pir Panjal XI registered win in the final of Rajouri Premier T20 League and clinched the trophy defeating Stars XI Rajouri by 42 runs.
The tournament was organised by Rajouri Sports Committee in association with Army’s 25 Infantry Division.
Batting first, Rising Pir Panjal set a challengeable target of 185 runs in 19 overs. In reply, chasing the total, Stars XI Rajouri was bundled out at 143 runs facing defeat with 42 runs. GoC 25 Infantry Division, Maj Gen D.A Chaturvedi was the Chief Guest.
Later, award ceremony was held in which Vice Chairman Pahari Advisory Board Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Additional SP Tejinder Singh, CO G.S Grewal and other prominent people were present. They gave away the awards and trophies.
