SAMBA: One person died while four others got injured in three separate road accidents in district Samba.
First accident took place on Swankha Road near Swankha Morh, when a load carrier auto bearing registration number JK21A- 3214 on its way from Swankha to Swankha Morh skidded off the road resulting in driver getting critically injured. He was rushed to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur from where the doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu where doctors declared him brought dead. Deceased was was identified as Abjyot Raj (37) son of Som Dutt resident of Ward No. 5 Vijaypur.
While in another accident, three trucks on their way from Samba to Jammu collided with each other on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Dwarka Puri (Barian) resulting in two drivers and one conductor of the trucks getting injured. All three were evacuated to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur from where the doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu. All three were identified as Yash Paul son of Om Prakash resident of Sandeep Pura Chadwal (Kathua), Dheeraj Kumar son of Joginder Lal and Davinder Kumar son of Roshan Lal both residents of Kangwala (Mawa) Samba.
Whereas in third accident, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK21-7173 hit a pedestrian near railway cross link road Raghu Chack ( Ghagwal). Injured identified as Mulakh Raj (62) son of Munshi Ram resident of Ghagwal was rushed to Government Primary Health Center Ghagwal from where the doctors referred him to Government District Hospital Kathua.
Cases were registered at the concerned police stations for further investigation.
