Various educational institutions celebrate Republic Day

JAMMU: Various government and private educational institutions celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm by organizing various functions at their respective places.
Government Higher Secondary School, Pargwal, Jammu, celebrated 67th Republic Day with fervor.
Commandant BSF 33 Bn SK Singh, Tehsildar Pargwal, R.L Sharma and Principal of the School, Swaran Singh took the salute.
Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu celebrated R-Day with great enthusiasm.
Principal of the School, Rajni Kotwal hoisted the National Flag in the presence of staff members and school children.
The school squad also participated in the R-Day function held at MAM Stadium.
The 67th Republic Day was also celebrated in Government Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Jammu, with great pomp and show.
Principal of the Institution, Sultana Kosar unfurled the National Flag.
A colourful function of Republic Day was organized in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School, Tikri in which Naib Tehsildar, Deputy Ram hoisted the National Flag.
Later, Principal HSS Tikri, Kamla Kumari distributed sweets among the participating students.
67th republic day was also celebrated at Government Higher Secondary School, Paloura, Jammu, in which National Flag was hoisted by Ch Harbans Lal, Principal of the School. On the occasion, students presented cultural programme.
A group of students also participated in the March-past at the MAM Stadium, Jammu under the guidance of Madan Mohan PET of the School.
KNIT Green Model Academy GS Pura, Sangarampur, Jammu, celebrated 67th R-Day with traditional fervor.
Chairman of the School, Prof J.L Kotwal hoisted the National Tricolour followed by the March-Past and colourful cultural programme.
Later, the chief guest gave away prizes to students, who had shown meritorious performance in various activities.
In the end, Sardari Lal presented vote of thanks.
Government High School, Sandhi, celebrated 67th Republic Day with great fervor. On the occasion, Sarpanch hoisted the National Flag in the presence of Headmaster, Jai Kumar, students and prominent residents of the area.
67th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor in the premises of Government Girls Middle School, Beli Azmat, Marh.
In-charge of the School, Ashok Kumari hoisted the National Flag. Various cultural programmes were also presented by the students.

Vidya Jyoti Model High School, Janipura, Jammu, celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm.
On the occasion, Jogeshwari Rai unfurled the National Flag.
Government Higher Secondary School, Rehal Bishnah, Jammu, celebrated 67th Republic Day with great fervor in the school premises.
RP Sharma, Principal of the School was the Chief Guest, who unfurled the National Flag.
Ten School of Clusters participated in the cultural items and March-past and also presented 12 separate cultural items.
Senior Lecturer Raj Kumar presented vote of thanks.
A colourful programme was organised in the premises of Government Middle School, Kalakam to mark 67th Republic Day. Headmaster of the School, Purshotam Kumar unfurled the National Flag.
VEC members, Sarpanchs, Panchs and prominent persons of the area were also present on the occasion.
Government Higher Secondary School, Sohal, Akhnoor, celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm in which Principal of the School, NP Singh hoisted the National Flag.
Cultural items were presented by all participating schools.
67th Republic Day was also celebrated at Government Higher Secondary School, Surinsar with great pomp and show.
Subash Singh, Sarpanch of the area, unfurled the National Flag.
Principal of the School, Girdhari Lal threw light on the importance of Republic Day.
Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic zeal and gaiety at Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Raipur, Bantalab Jammu.
A.K Raina General Secretary (HESK), V.K Raina (member E.B HESK), Prof H.L Misri along with Principal (GMCEJ) unfurled the Tricolour which was followed by the National Anthem.
Prof H.L Misri said that this day symbolises the unity of the nation and brings together people from different caste, creed and religion.
Principal (GMCEJ) Prof. G.L Koul stressed on eradication of poverty, illiteracy, unemployment from the country.
Govt. Middle School, Trilokpur celebrated Republic Day in the school premises Sarpanch of Trilokpur, Raj Kumar Sharma was the Guest of Honour. Others who were present were Ram Lal Sharma, Kaku Ram, Ganesh Sharma and Sandesh Sharma.
To celebrate the 67thRepublic Day Model Academy the Prestigious School of MIER held an interactive session for classes 9th and 10th.
A display board competition was also organized in both the branches of the school.
Maj. Gen S.K Sharma, AVSM (Retd), Former Principal MIET, Jammu was the Guest Speaker for the interaction.
The interactive session was attended by Rupa Gupta, Management Representative, Dr. Chitra Misra, Principal Model Academy and teachers of the Secondary Wing. The session commenced with a patriotic song sung by the school choir.
Jasleen Mohial, Academic Manager, Primary and Middle school introduced the guest speaker to the students and elucidated his achievements. She described him as a person with an impeccable service record and a man of probity and integrity.
While interacting with the students S.K Sharma said that valour, discipline, honesty, fairness and spirit of selfless sacrifice are the ethos of the Indian Army.
He was also given a memento as a token of appreciation by the school management.
Dogra Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar, Jammu celebrated the Republic Day with great patriotic fervor and gaiety.
Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director, DHSS was the Chief Guest, besides, hoisting Tricolor various cultural items were presented by the student on the occasion.
The Chief Guest Gambhir Dev Singh Charak unfurled the National Flag and National Anthem was presented by the students. An impressive programme was held in the school premises. The student presented small skits and patriotic items. The Principal Devinder Kour highlighted the great sacrifices of Martyrs for their motherland.
In the end, the sweets and flags were distributed among the students. The staff pledged to work whole heartedly for betterment of the students.
The premises of St. Mary’s Infant Pre School (SMIPS) echoed with patriotic fervour as the school organized a patriotic song and dance competition in continuation of the Republic Day celebrations.
Anna Mary, Chairperson of St. Mary’s Infant Pre-School was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Jagandeep Kour and Shallu Soodan, judged the event along with the Chief Guest.
Chief Guest, Anna Mary lauded the admirable performances of the tiny tots and congratulated the participants for the excellent show they had put up.
In the LKG section, Adrian Raj Anthony was adjudged the winner whereas Urvashi Mahajan stood second and Aryavansh Singh secured the third place.
In the Nursery section, Jashneh Kour was adjudged the winner whereas Aadira Sharma stood second and Utkarsh Mahajan secured the third place.
Principal, Sheetal Anthony appreciated the zeal shown by the youngsters and reminded them about the greatness of country which infused feelings of dedication and loyalty in the young hearts.
With great joy, love and respect for the country Delhi Public School, Jammu celebrated the Republic Day in its premises. The Principal, Ruchi Chabra, unfurled the National Flag which was followed by the National Anthem and Principal’s address. Many cultural programmes were presented by the students and teachers on the occasion.
The choir group presented National song ‘Vande Matram’ which was followed by speeches by students highlighting the importance of the day.
Headmistress Meenu Gupta, members of administration, coordinators and staff members were also present on the occasion.
On this auspicious occasion, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, President RCT, Jammu, Kunwrani Ritu Singh, Pro- Vice Chairperson, DPS Jammu of the school, S.S Sodhi, Director DPS Jammu conveyed their greetings and good wishes to all students, parents and staff members.
The programme concluded with the singing of National Anthem and distribution of sweets.
67th Republic Day was celebrated Govt. High School, Bhaga, Reasi. The Head Master of the School, Mohammad Rafiq hoisted the National Flag in which Dr. Surinder Singh Retd. ZEO and Munshi Ram Sarpanch of Panchayat Bhaga was the guest of honor on the occasion.
Cultural items were presented by the students which were highly appreciated by the people. Some other schools came all way to Govt. HighSchool, Bhaga to participate in the Republic Day Celebrations and presented lot of cultural items. The participating schools included Middlie School, Saldi, Convent School Education, Bhaga, Ishwar Vidya Mandir, Bhaga, Rameshwargeri Mandir School, Saaldi, Primary Dchool, Jaran, Primary School, Lohrnoo, Primary School, Lalaysian and Primary School, Chumbrian.
Republic Day was celebrated in the premises of Government HSS Ghoumanhasan with great fervour and zeal. The Tricolour was hoisted by the Principal of the School, J.R Sharma amid the chanting of National Anthem. Sweets were distributed among the students and meritorious students’ hounoured.
R.M Public School, R.M College celebrate Republic Day
Staff and management members of R.M Public School and R.M College celebrated Republic Day with great fervor.
Rita Mengi, Trustee of R.M Public School hoisted the National Flag. P.K Dhar, Principal of R.M College and Ravinder Kour, Principal of R.M Public School congratulated all the staff members and wished for the better development of the country.
Republic Day was celebrated in Government Higher Secondary School, Jhajjar Kotli (Jammu) with great pomp and show. Tehsidar Dansal Snover Jameel, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion hoisted the Tricolor in the presence of principal, staff, Sarpanch and recognised committee members of the school.
